LB - Good to hear your sis-in-law is home. I'm sure she'll get better much quicker with her own things around her.
The plants for your brother look lovely and healthy🙂

Chive - at only 5' tall (and I may have shrunk to slightly less than that in recent years...) I like standing next to young children and my MIL. Anyone who's shorter than me in fact - and there aren't many around🙂 That LB is a bit of a shorty too - and she had the cheek to refer to me as a little titch when we met🤨😁

Well done Yvie, you've got some good work done today and I'm sure that your Bestie will be pleased that you have grown some plants for her.
Chive, get ready for the fun and laughter tomorrow.
Tee hee T'Bird at only a smidge over 5 feet - in old money - I felt positively tall alongside you. Hope I didn't offend you I have got accustomed, over the years, to being used as a measuring stick by firstly my nieces and nephews, who would surreptitiously sidle up behind me and then place their shoulders next to mine - and now by their children. There are only 5 of my 10 great nieces and nephews who are shorter than me and 2 of those are champing at the bit to grow taller. My youngest sister and I are about the same size but I think she just pips me. We shouldn't mind though T'Bird. as my Grandma used to say, "They don't make diamonds like bricks!" Hmmm, maybe she hadn't seen the Cullinan diamond though! Sigh!

Night night from me too, sleep well everyone.
  • Good morning everyone.  I’ve enjoyed the 4 day Platinum Jubilee celebrations from the thanksgiving to the concert outside Buckingham Palace, the Queen and her marmalade sandwich with Paddington Bear and the pageant on Sunday.   I was running a temperature on Sunday and poorly Monday taking paracetamol and keeping warm.  LB it’s good your SIL is back home to her own bed to recover in familiar surroundings.  Hazel sounds like you had a lovely day out with the children seeing the animals.  I’m sure it will stay in their memories.  Lily do you or your oh have an appmt today, if so, I hope all goes well.  Chive hope you have a good day at school with the little people.  It sounds like you had a good weekend.  LB I’m sure handy brother will be very pleased to receive the plants you have grown on.  Hope you have a dry day for your journey.  I’m having my first mug of tea and catching up with the news.  Ante hope all is going well and you had a good weekend.  Rosie. Wishing everyone a good day.
