What a gorgeous picture of @WonkyWomble ! The bacon rolls look good, and chocolate tiffin to follow, yum!

I did suggest that perhaps she ought to wash her hands before lunch, honest ... but she's too old for me to nag now ... and she was too hungry to wait ... and anyway, she'd only been messing with good clean compost and garden plants  ;)

How do you know they're all pets @Hostafan1?  We have a mix of both here and they behave the same except that ours are friendly towards us and all the others are wary of our dogs.   In 50 years of owning cats I have only ever seen one of them herd pheasants into a hopping circle of befuddled pheasantry.  I had to go outside to remind them they have wings.

Ducks are not so stupid.  I have friends with 6 cats and ducks nesting in a specially built and floated duck house on their pond.  The fox gets them every year, but not heir cats.

I know where they live  ( nearest neighbour has 9 of the flippin things),and I'd happily see them splatted on the road one day.

Hi folks,  Had a busy day in the garden today.  Managed to mow the lawns and do some weeding.  Also sowed more seeds and got a couple of plants in the garden.
Sorry hear about your dog Penny.  It's so sad when we lose a pet.
Glad you and Wonky had the chance to catch up Dove.

Thank you so much for all you did today Wonky :D ... everything that needed splitting, repotting, cutting back, or digging out has been done ... OH was great too, sorting out the stuff packed into the shed and the mini-greenhouse, so now it's all prepared for me to pop the seedlings in there when they and the weather are ready.

And now the pair of robins are enjoying finding all the grubs turned up in the disturbed soil on the veg patch ... OH gave it all a good raking over ... the birds are very happy.

    my lips are sealed.
To be fair, the neighbours don't shit in my garden, so just the cats
