The Christmas special line up -

Rosie Ramsey (wife of the comedian Chris Ramsey who took part in 2019, and a co presenter on their podcast and BBC show) is partnered with Neil Jones

Rickie Haywood – Williams (DJ and radio presenter, formerly Kiss fm and now on Radio 1) is partnered with Luba Mushtuk.

Alexandra Mardell (Coronation Street actress) is partnered with Kai Widdrington.

Larry Lamb (EastEnders and Gavin and Stacey) is partnered with Nadiya Bychkova.

And finally (for now), Nicolas Roberts (Girls Aloud singer) is partnered with Giovanni Pernice.

To the best of my knowledge there is one celebrity left to be announced.

OH will be happy.   He likes Nadiya.

  • Friday night strictly that means they all get the weekend off I wonder what they will all do, soak their feet maybe. I saw the picture of Rosie Ramsey and thought Gordon's daughter has aged a bit, didn't realise it was Chris's wife she's a bit of a live wire she is I wonder if she'll sing.

@barry island I’m sure they will have extra practice over the weekend 😉
  • What a show no one deserves to go home but someone has to, I don't know if Hamza's knees will hold out till the final I hope he doesn't do an A.J.

I watched it earlier this afternoon and enjoyed it, but l must admit that after Helen's dance l thought that was it. I'd forgotten all about Fleur and Vito.
Have to admire Kym's wearing of the Fame legwarmers outfit. I wish l could get away with that. Would cause a stir in Morrisons 😁.

    *Spoiler below*

Looks like they get an extra day, as next week's show is on Sunday. They are all doing 2 dances though, so the extra time will be welcome.

I was convinced that Fleur would be joining Molly in the dance off. I did think Kym would make it for one more week, but as soon as it was announced, l knew she would be the one leaving.
Seems hard to believe it's the semi final next week.

I really enjoyed Hamza's samba - so different from the usual wham bam Carnival and tail feathers versions we see.  It was lyrical, rhythmic and expressive and just gorgeous.  Best since Oti and Danny Mac.

Helen's dance was fabulous - funny, expressive, perfect timing.  Brilliant.

All the others were very good too but just lacked a little something so not memorable.   The right one went.   Didn't think much of the professionals' routine or the Cher group.

I thought Helen’s dance was the best , Craig amused me with his 9
Will be on holiday so won’t see the semifinal but back in time to see the final
Liked Kym but it was her time to go
  • I couldn't pick one to go this week but as Kym had a free ride last week it might have been fair that she got the elbow and as she didn't seem too upset all was well. Next week is the worst time to go out but if they have two dances it may be more clear cut who should go.
