I got soul as bareroot this year, thanks to you @Nollie

Not a HT fan.. but then this year experimenting with a few.. most blooms have been delayed as I cut them back..

@Marlorena have you grown Celine? wanted to know abt the scent.. Celine Forestier producing basals like a weed.. in a good way.. No scent yet, supposed to be fragrant.. I chose Celine over Lady H.. first year, so hopefully with time she will improve...

Not so good news about Bring Me Sunshine..... :|

@Fire apparently QE II is not fragrant.. liked the colour though...

Does anyone grow rosa Dusky Maiden? I'm wondering how dark or brown-ish it is. I have heard it described as having a brown tinge, which is interesting (1947).  Thanks

What a fabulous flurry of roses, everyone’s gardens are looking really lush. Mine is greening up again after the rains but still lots of gaps with new perennials not quite big enough to go out yet.

Stephanie D' ursel is indeed lovely, but I’m not mentioning the S word ever again @cooldoc 😆

@Fire someone has Dusky Maiden, @peteS? My new Buff Beauty is the same Pete, probably needs a couple of years to strengthen up and fill out. I have propped it up with some supports.

We are going to the coast for a couple of days with visiting family and I’m trying hard to look forward to it rather than be dismayed I will miss some new rose debuts! Souvenir de Marcel Proust is on the cusp, as is Ducher, Lady Hillingdon, Mutabilis…
