I'm definitely going to have to move my Mutabilis to the opposite sunny bed @Marlorena. All very well listing it as shade tolerant but nobody mentions that the blooms are sickly pastel colours in part shade. My neighbour’s neglected one has similar tones to yours so it seems sun is a prerequisite, makes sense for a China I guess…

Interesting to follow the progress of all the [Not] BMS/Elizabeths, DA certainly seems to have gotten itself into a muddle there. Perhaps commercial pressure to produce something in vast numbers to mark the Jubilee?

Some roses in my south/west facing spots are valiantly putting out new blooms but really they shouldn’t bother as they crisp immediately. Really not worth a photo!

My BMS is still a mildew mess though producing lots of flowers now. I am thinking of pruning it to 1 feet and sort of starting fresh once this flush is done.

I'm thinking similar on my blush noisette and iceberg, and possibly Chandos Beauty. Flowering has been good/great ,  but the foliage looks so horrendous that perhaps once we get to the last week of June I'll be free and easy with the secateurs.
Kindness is always the right choice.

Wow, they are fabulous, I get so green with envy over all the lovely potted roses available in the UK, such a lovely instant treat! Probably just as well they are largely unavailable here though, not just for the sake of my bank balance - they wouldn’t survive the journey in this heat.
