Thanks Nollie, Rojas and Edhelka. I will wait for new growth and flowers to see what next.

@Oliya you should contact DA again. Presumably they can replace your not-Elizabeth now.

thank you for your msg. I already was in touch with DA after they’ve suggested to send me another bare root one. I basically told them their suggestion is unacceptable and they quickly responded promising to send me a potted one as soon as it becomes available. And… it’s arrived at the end of last week! Unfortunately, it wasn’t in flower… so I have to wait for a bit longer before I can see it in bloom for the first time… at least the foliage looks correct!

And DA has never responded to my repeated request to identify the rose they’ve sent me originally 🤷🏼‍♀️ It looks like it’ll forever remain “not-Elizabeth”

Fab, Oliya, that you got your rose. Hope you get a lovely flush soon.

Edhelka and cooldoc and everyone, extraordinary pics. Loved all the The Prince ones and WS2000, too.

Re: Peter Beales, they have sent me a paper invoice for the replacement rose. It arrived in an envelope and not tucked inside the box of said rose, which still has not materialised. This has been dragging on more than four weeks now since the initial order.

Cf. Styles, I ordered several roses and sundries in the winter and got them the next day. One item was broken in transit. I informed them and received a replacement the day after.

When I next have some cash to throw at roses, I know whose website I'll be trawling

@Rojas hmm, not sure yet, some WS buds have a bit of a top flourish to their buds like that but not as much as TP, might have to wait and see with your second one..

Yes, @cooldoc Lady Hillingdon should be yellow, earlier blooms were and nice scent too, but extreme heat does funny things to roses, currently 38c here 🥵 Nice to see Henri Delbard and your La Rose de Molinard is looking good too.

Splendid array of colours cooldoc, I'm very pleased for you..  growing in pots has its advantages this time of year when so much has dried up..
