Nice to hear some of you have had rain — hope the flooding has subsided in your garden @Marlorena and that there wasn’t much damage, that sounded scary!
No rain here apart from a tiny bit on Monday, barely enough to add to the long-since empty water butt. The predicted showers on the weather forecast keep moving away… it’s frustrating. On the other hand, no slugs and my oak seating is wonderfully free from the greenish algae tinge it usually gets from rain and cloudy days.
Just a couple of cluster shots, both roses doing well in a south-facing spot with direct sun during the recent heatwave — Vanessa Bell
And Flower Carpet Pink, with one bloom looking somewhat squished
Not much rain here, just a slight drizzle. Also the lower temperature is doing much good to the plants. Here are a few rose blooms which have survived the heat wave in the bud stage. Palais Royale Jayne Austin Charlotte - droopy flowers in the second flush Young Lycidas Ulmer Munster

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
Well it’s been fun and games here, weather-wise. Huge thunderstorms, lashing monsoon rain, some flooding (quickly dissipated), power cuts, mobile phone masts and internet down, then back, then down again. Temperatures dropping by 15c then instant blazing sun and mid 30s. Back to a normal summer for me then! Soul destroyed again, but Palais Biron held up well in the rain. I have to keep looking at this photo of Soul to remind myself why I’m stubbornly holding onto it:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Sounds a bit wild there in Catalonia, @Nollie! Hope your dog is all right with the storms.
The end of this flush of PAoK (is that it for this year?). Brown moribund lawn behind. This doesn't have any scent for me yet but it's very beautiful.
Rose des Cisterciens and Heritage competing for "prettiest new acquisition this summer."
Gabriel Oak, spent and new blooms. I can't believe how much better this is doing in a pot.
Tranquillity, with LoS and rosa Birthday Girl and geranium Rozanne visible in the background. There would be a lot of pink antirrinhums, too, but they were trampled by unknown agents.
Love the doggie photobombing @WhereAreMySecateurs. Poor Bill is terrified of thunder, so either hides upstairs or if he happens to be out, squeezed under the car or hunkered somewhere in the forest. You would think he would be used to it by now, wild thunderstorms are a regular event here.

I have a single Barkarole, just opened, smells divine. A proper dark red this time, as not in blazing sun. I like her with the thungerbia growing through and will create that combination again.
'Troika'...just a humble HT...has had everything thrown at it this summer, from water neglect on my part to brief spells of intense summer heat...but all the while it has never stopped flowering. Even more amazing when you think it's been in a pot all that time. I can't wait to see how it performs next summer after I've put it in the ground. Â
Not a fair contest as many roses aren’t in bloom to be judged, but by far the most damaged by the downpour is Mme. Antoine Mari. The canes are weighed heavily down with all blooms reaching for the floor and looking like sodden tissue. Which demonstrates that ‘petal substance’ is important for both heat and rain resistance:
The best is Palais Biron, looking perkily upright. The biggest cluster is a little bowed but  no petal damage to speak of:
