@cooldoc .. no, you have BMS don't you? now I'm confused.. lol. I thought those were Athelas's photos.. oh well, it'll all come out in the wash.. perhaps your BMS isn't quite as thorny as mine..
Boiling hot today by our standards... rain tomorrow..
Newbie77, absolutely love those colours. Augusta Louise / Rachel is so flipping lovely.
Slightly wonky view from window of new Gertrude trio starting to bloom today (well... two of them. The tiny one is straggling behind a bit). The perfume knocked us sideways leaving the house this morning even though these are new plants; wasn't expecting that!
Tess is now open. This is the replacement one Styles sent me when the other broke. Not much scent yet, but beautifully red.
More Boule de Neige spam...
A £2 lily from Sainsbury's reappearing for a third year.
Marchenzauber opening - nice fruity fragrance. L'aimant in its first year; drooping necks probably due to underwatering. Golden Celebration still blooming. Summer song
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
I really like that cupped bloom on summer song , @Eustace. Gorgeous roses all around , I try not to click like on everything to avoid feeling like a spambot! One collage from me , Julia Child in various ages of bloom, Chandos beauty and Iceberg finally blooming ( although both this and blush noisette seem very twiggy vs my others). No pics of Easy does it ( blooming nicely, but the neighbours' dog seems to temporarily hate me going out into the back patio so I'm trying not to stress her out too much!)
@Marlorena those were my pics.. anyways, will chill out and enjoy the sunshine.. it is producing two new basals, will report back on the growth habit..
lovely roses all around..Â
Gertrude.. so much praise for its fragrance.. If not for the poor repeat I would have already got it.. will see how it does for everyone here..
Looks like I will be taking out Royal Jubilee this year.. for some reason she does not bloom well for me.. full of leaves but only few buds at a time..

Your roses reminded me of these tulips I had flowering in May....

@Woodgreen, lovely tulips. I never had luck with two different colour tulips flowering at same time and same height. Beautiful!
