@Marlorena I keep meaning to ask you about your ‘Enchantress’ is that from Tantau? It’s very delicate and pretty. If so you seem to have struck lucky with a number of their roses, my experience has been mixed with them to say the least!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
@Nollie ...yes, aka Gartentraume or Scentuous..  it's doing ok, but still in the Beales pot as it's not quite ready for de-potting..  Tantau's are also hit and miss with me, but I'm checking this one out when I get rain, as like others of theirs I have found, they don't stand rain too well.. I'll have to get back on that. Otherwise, a nice bushy plant with good foliage so far..
@Imprevu 'Robe Fleurie' looks nice, my kind of rose..
@Nollie I’m currently soaking in a bucket but I wonder if it’s some form of root fungus. This rose never real grew and the other one of the same variety is twice the size.Â
That’s my main gripe with Tantau roses too @Marlorena, you would think they didn’t get rain in Germany. Finger’s crossed for your newbie.
@Katsa I really don’t know what it is - have you tried rubbing a bit of it off to see if it feels like ant deposits/eggs or fungal? Here is a closeup of your photo to see if anyone has any ideas:

No idea, I've not seen it before, but I suppose I'd have to try and clean all that off and repot if I wanted to keep it, then hope for the best, but none of it looks healthy..
Busy day finally properly putting trelis up, tying roses in and planting clematis and other bits. Munstead wood nearly out! Angel eyes looking lovely and todays new openers the deliciously scented Mountbatten (harkness) and Albertine... as you can see its only just starting to open buds accross the back shed and fence. Its paired with wedding day, also budding. The trees behind are a little green area further over on the estate and I will move the pear tree in its black pot aside whilst its in flower. Shallott is doing really well in year #2, climbs really well and flexibly. First clematis with it is blooming, need to check the tag ive forgotten the name! The black trellis next to it has the gorgeous red climbing "Highgrove" budding with Belle du jour in front. The arch the pic is taken through has CPM on with clematis rebecca on the right, various burgundy clematis on the other and montana creeping at the top, keeping it stable! Munstead is in a pot infront, I was going to move it out the front butttttt...... I like looking at it too much out of the back!
