Does anyone ever get so paralysed with indecision they end up buying nothing? I've sat here for a week with three roses (Eustacia Vye, Anniversary / Dee-Lish, and Rachel / Augusta Louise) in my basket on various sites and I can't choose which to get potted for my birthday. Is it like men- if you're not sure which one to go out with, it means neither is the one for you?🤔😁
My criteria are "pink, pretty, scented, available."
@WhereAreMySecateurs, here is my view on your list. I have to say I am a bit partial to DA roses. Somehow I am more forgiving to them.
Eustacia vye, new for me this year. Lovely flowers and fragrance. Overall I am happy with my purchase. I am not sure about desease resistance yet. I don't have a photo handy but she looks similar to online photos. The apricot colour center variation isn't consistent though and lots of flowers are just pink too.
Deelish, a different colour and texture to my usual Austins, leaves always nice and healthy, fragrance nice too but somehow the flowers don't open for me consistently. When I had it in shade, big fat buds struggled to open and then I moved to sunny location, the petals crisp at edges or may be it's the rain. I have seen very beautiful photos of it, so may be I have not yet found perfect spot for it.
Augusta Louise, I have to say she is unique and only one similar is her sport Aquarell. Very big, ruffled flowers. It blackspots after the amazing first flush. Last year it lost lots of leaves, but later came back with new leaves and more flowers.
@Marlorena Hi Marlorena...have you any idea what this pretty thing might be. It seems content growing in a pot up an obelisk out of the sun, but sadly any ID label has been lost ages ago.
Someone asked about Queen of Sweden, sorry I am not able to find the post to quote. It is a trouble free rose. The only true upright DA rose in my collection actually. Flowers are very beautiful but they are on smaller side. I had a spot in my pink bed and she fits perfectly without bothering her neighbours.

.. I would say that's the polyantha rose 'Nathalie Nypels'.. a rose some of us are growing. The foliage matches too..
