Thank you so much @Woodgreen yes this was it march last year! Ruined lawn (dogs), poor drainage and much smaller beds, I was just adding structure, had just temporarily put the fence up rather than rubbish flexing ones, pergola being built and 1st obelisk in - lady of shalott on it was bare root here, its clearly loving its spot!
A fabulous transformation @JessicaS . I was thinking how lovely it must be if a neighbour has a beautiful garden with roses peeking over the fence.
@peteS I have bought all the pots online over the last couple of years. Search for Elho Vibia Straight Round 47 for the one my roses mostly occupy, also have some Elho Loft Urban but there are numerous designs in various sizes and colours. They can be bought from various places eg https://www.bloomling.uk/elho/vibia-straight-round-47-cm. Prices vary (but have increased a lot). I like Elho as a company, they use recycled plastic and send out replacement bits from HQ FOC if eg you need a new water butt lid.
Jessica and pitter, pure loveliness. What gorgeous, restful spaces.
Caught the Lady of Shalott hobnobbing with a polyanthus this morning. She had to stoop quite a way! Glad she's out now. She's probably my favourite plant in the garden. Â And some other new spots of colour now the early spring things are *sob* going over.

Louise Odier - new addition this year; lots of prickly thorns.

What's the lovely purple geranium(?) bottom left photo, please?
Love the rose and polyanthus!
