    I wondered if anyone could help/ advise regarding chlorosis. 3 of my potted David Austin roses have it and I believe it's down to our hard water/tap water. Drainage is fine so it's not a root problem. There are so many products on the market but does anyone have a favourite remedy please? Thanks.

    @edhelka lovely garden photos.

    @tack nice surprise flower.

    @TracyP, it seems too early in the year to have this issue due to water from tap. If you could post photos of leaves that would help to see if it is chlorosis or something else. Did you feed your roses this spring? How old are they?

    These are a year old (bare root planted April 2021). Fed with Top Rose and a little Blood, fish and bone.

    I realize the pots should be bigger (these are 40cm) but this is only their temporary home. I did mulch with compost in March but I have topped up the pots with topsoil because the compost sunk. Thanks for any advice

    I use this as a semi regular feed throughout the growing season but I admit that I collect rainwater as much as possible so I'm not certain it is the answer for you. I know @Nollie has a hardwater problem so I'm sure he'll have some advice.

    Brilliant! Thanks for the help. I do in fact have a water butt but since I keep carnivorous plants too, I just can't keep up with demand, so the poor roses get the tap I'm afraid.

    I feel your pain. It has barely rained for weeks where I am.
