@Fire - as newbie said - Vanessa Bell smells nice to start with and then goes a bit off.
Desdemona has a lovely scent. She’s one of the best all-round roses I’d say.
I still maintain that Bathsheba smells like a menthol throat lozenge...doesn’t appeal at all! I’ve got some more flowers open on Kew Gardens now.
No roses that I can smell yet, but I saw some colour starting to appear on Rhapsody in Blue and Desdemona isn’t far off. I think she’ll be the first to be in full flush.
Yes, it was Bathsheba I was trying to think of (not Desdemona). Two historical women. Different people on the forum seem to get a wide variety of scents from her - pleasant or pleasant.
Your photos @Marlorena always seem to cost me money, because now I simply must have 'Cornelia'...what a beauty. Usual questions though...how does it cope with rain, is it healthy and it will be going in a pot. Cheers.
Natalija is gorgeous, beauty and fragrance, a killer combination.
Lovely borders @Tack, they look very accomplished and mature.
Slippery slope @Mr. Vine Eye, slippery slope! I used to dislike yellow roses, now I have half a dozen 😆 A cool red with purple tones would blend well with your existing scheme. I have gone off warm reds, they end up clashing with everything.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

I’d like some more singles, particularly large single flowers.
