    Here it rained a week ago but the pots were still moist despite temps of 18c.. even the terracotta ones.. I have an instrument which measure pH and soil dryness.. hope its accurate.. can get it cheap via Amazon or Wilko stores..

    @Penny_Forthem lovely roses.. lot of Hybrid teas in your collection.. will be awaiting your pics.. sorry about your husbands diagnosis.. with the new season hope things get better..

    @edhelka can you name the 2nd to 5th rose?

    I also watered my potted roses and newly planted in the ground ones today. We've had no rain for well over a week and none forecast yet so I thought I'd better be good!

    Took me a while to spot the rose there Owd, but the magnolia is indeed magnificent 😆

    I see mini buds this morning on Ena and Crimson Glory as well as Moonlight. Things are looking up. A good blast of sun this weekend and some warm temps will bring things on.
