    ..that 'Excellenz von Schubert' is a real winner... It seems to have got mixed up with 'Gartendirektor Otto Linne'.. yet it looks nothing like it, apart from the foliage which is similar.

    Hi folks, good to see everyone's roses coming out in bloom, I'm hoping I will have too when we get back.

    Saw this one at Mottistone Gardens in the IOW @Marlorena, do you know anything about it please, never heard of it before.

    Oops, just realised I'm on my laptop and the pic is on my phone! I'll change over so pic to follow.

    ..glad you had a nice time @JessicaS .. all those lovely tulips and I like the Windmill, and just look at those racemes on your Wisteria - huge !.

    @Lizzie27
    .. yes it's one of Peter Beales's roses, I've often looked it up.. next time I visit their garden I'll see if it's there..  enjoy your holiday !..

    @cooldoc
    .. nice to see you're getting some help.. I've not seen too many sparrows so far, oddly.

    @Imprevu
    .. I see you get some mildew as well, but your Gde F is doing great.

    'The Prince' is rather charming.. Mr Austin obviously thought the same..
