    @andrewnewton The Ancient Mariner, perhaps?
    @Omori Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know if it's a darker shade of pink than the roses I've already chosen please.

    ..thanks for kind comments...

    'Open Arms' is lovely, I'd love to have it..

    @murasaki
    .. I've recently acquired 'Angela' by mistake, but I'm liking it very much.
    I also doubt the rose is 'Munstead Wood', the foliage and growth habit don't look right, but it's difficult to tell from a distance.  I think it's 'Tess of the d'Urbervilles'...

    ..love Blush Noisette too, but it's not so nice going over I know..
    Tottering is ok here in full sun, but as for hotter climates I can't say really..

    @andrewnewton
    .. if you're not set on 'GJ', would you care for 'Wild Rover'?..
    I've no idea why it's not grown more, I love this rose and very suitable for obelisks, but my taste is not to everyone's..

     @Marlorena Thanks for the alternative. It doesn't immediately put me off and would offer a contrast.

    It’s a mid pink, if you’d like a darker pink, another option is Royal Jubilee?

    I think it’s the second, I think the first is either gloire d'un enfant d'hiram or captain hayward

    Dog has just helped himself to some of the fertiliser off the new roses, I suspect he has eaten more already and that is why he was so quiet when I was filling the bird feeders earlier. Does anyone recognise this food:

    Wonderful photos, many thanks for sharing @zugenie, looks a fabulous place.

    @Marlorena, Delbard are not immune to exaggeration re fragrance, to my nose at least, but Souvenir de Marcel Proust so far lives up to the hype. Finger’s crossed it will turn out to be a good un.
