@newbie77 I wonder if that’s The Mill on the Floss?Â
In the beginning I thought so too but is not Mill on the Floss. I have that rose too, it is different. It could be Spirit of Freedom but number of petals looks like a bit less than online photos. The colour is a bit light purple, so I thought Charles Rennie Mackintosh but it has nice fragrance. It is from TCL so could be any old Austin.
I might need to put some obelisk or support for it.Â
Anniversary Rose finally arrived from Peter Beales (no despatch notice and complete fluke I was home today). Really gorgeous dark buds, but is this rust? Will it spread it my other healthy roses? I don't spray so not sure what to do here.Â
@WhereAreMySecateurs Yes, rust. From my experience, it can spread but it isn't as bad as blackspot. I usually have it on 1-3 roses per season but not more.
I wasn't able to read the label for this one Blue/purple and yellow border, 'Lady Waterlow' on the wall, no idea what the yellow rose is. Mostly HTs in this border And a pretty no-label shrub (Raubritter, maybe?)

Another white climber I covet from the Bourbon days is Sombreuil, Nollie. Does anyone have that?
This old rose from the 50s or 60s is out. The whole plant is hideous but could you shovel prune this? I can't.

@WhereAreMySecateurs, yes looks like tiny rust dots.Â
My mystery rose in a posy with one actual little Royal jubilee behind it.Â

The Powis pictures are very pretty. Especially love the myriad colours in the HT border.Â
