    In the beginning I thought so too but is not Mill on the Floss. I have that rose too, it is different. It could be Spirit of Freedom but number of petals looks like a bit less than online photos. The colour is a bit light purple, so I thought Charles Rennie Mackintosh but it has nice fragrance. It is from TCL so could be any old Austin.

    I might need to put some obelisk or support for it.

    Quite a few of my roses have rust this year, and powdery mildew. A bad year for diseases I guess.

    @WhereAreMySecateurs Yes, rust. From my experience, it can spread but it isn't as bad as blackspot. I usually have it on 1-3 roses per season but not more.

    Ugh. Is rust treatable? It's on every leaf of this. I wouldn't have bought it from a nursery.

    The Powis pictures are very pretty. Especially love the myriad colours in the HT border.
