@Marlorena, that’s astonishing temperatures for the UK.
Please take care everyone in the hot spots. I’m used to adjusting my timetable and activities for that level of heat, but still got a touch of heat stroke because I underestimated the effect of the relentless and super-dehydrating hot wind. Me and the boy dog are flaked out indoors in the dark much of the time, OH had to go to London for work but no escaping the heat there either..
Never mind top thirty, I’d be struggling to name half a dozen roses that can survive (never mind thrive) in current conditions as well as cope with our increasingly longer, frostier winters. I’ve stopped deadheading, no point in encouraging more blooms right now.
Yes looking forward to puppy but with some trepidation. It’s been 13 years since we last had one and hope our old boy Bill will be accepting, oh and not eat her!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
@Marlorena Thank you for sharing the list and for your valuable inputs as always.Â
@Fire I agree and the pictures posted here persuade me to buy more! I have started thinking about getting rid of some and replace it with a new list.  @Nollie Thank you for the assurance and I am glad to hear that you are getting a replacement. Are you going to keep the WS2000 or dispose it?  La rose de molinard: 3rd season. It had canes dieback and didn’t grow much. Last year it threw a long stem which I have bent and tied half way through. Rain spoil the flowers and the sun fry them despite of watering yesterday. I am hoping to see the beautiful glowing pink flowers but just couldn’t enough of it. The scent is nice and strong but it has got disease this year although it’s reported to have an excellent disease resistance. I am contemplating whether to keep it or not.Â
It's interesting that "Help Me Find" lets us share rose lists. That might be interesting for our rose crew to share - a line up of the roses they have.
@Rojas since I had already bought a new WS2000 from another source, I don’t need three, so will see which proves the strongest one and dump the other two.
I’m also contemplating the future of my Rose de Molinard for the same reasons as you. I had yellowing canes and dieback in summer, pretty badly last year and some this year. I wondered if there was poor drainage in that spot causing it. I couldn’t think of any other reason, but maybe it’s just prone to it. When it’s good it’s glorious and the scent is heavenly, but yeah, doesn’t happen often enough.

..these roses survived generally unscathed today.. 'Lady of Shalott'.. in full blazing sun all day, more than any other rose here.. 'La France'.. totally untouched,... full sun until 2pm.. 'Tottering...'.. in full sun coped well.. 'Cornelia'.. not too bad.. 'Tall Story'.. this is a very good rose.. 'Wild Rover' a little crispy.. 'Scented Garden' in shade from the worst of it..

Just a quick one of Roald Dahl this evening after a 38C day; minor crisping in a pot in full sun.
