My first Whiter Shade of Pale is out much pinker than I was expecting, and also doesn't really look like those on the DA website haha. But it smells lovely
@puschkinia, I find that white roses, especially young ones, often start off pink and then turn later on so it may be a case of just waiting to see. Your rose is a very beautiful white one which I've often fancied. I have white Winchester Cathedral and often have whole branches of pink blooms, sometimes one half is white and the other pink. Rather bizarre but attractive. It has a pink parent 'Mary Rose' I believe.
@puschkinia Beautiful photo of your rose. My Whiter Shade of Pale is still in tight buds but last year it flowered well. However, it was not at all pink but was very pale off-white with a slight pinkish tinge. I can't wait to see what it will be like this year, its third year.

I posted a photo of my first rose bloom on the 11th of April, 'Blush China', always the first rose to flower here and always early.
It remains the only rose in flower. Admittedly my established roses were pruned very late.
The three I have in pots are showing buds but are taking their time.
Here's my old faithful 'Blush China' today.
