At Longmeadow, Monty embarks on an exciting new project

surely not another incarnation of 'the mound' .....
No it's not, don't worry! I have read what it is but can't remember now.
    I wonder what it is.....

  • Yes I'm sure I read in the mag that he has no project for this year.
I like what the return of Gardeners' World means more than anything - the return of flowers 😁

No mention of a rockery last night, which is what I was expecting, but he has been digging a bog garden around his pond.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • I so enjoyed the programme last night! Andy Slater’s garden was breathtakingly beautiful.  And I love seeing viewers gardens too, all sizes and levels of expertise and maturity - a celebration of the love of gardening for all of us!!

Like the curate's egg, l expect you'll find it good in parts with something for everyone.  It's all subjective.

Can't help you @Hostafan1.  I fell asleep less than 5 minutes in.  Monty is infallible - in the soporific sense.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I found that garden with almost exclusively clipped evergreens very interesting. There's no way I would ever have the discipline to keep things so simple, but it was effective.

Yeah.. bits of it were ok. Viewers gardens I enjoyed (if that's yer thing), one or two other segments were quite good.. others quite dull. Usual GW fare.
I suspect your FF thumb may get a workout.
