He may be a fox hunter [ despicable ], but he may not. The meeting he was photographed at, was not a trail hunt, but a "fun" ride organised by the hunt, no trail, no hounds.
    Indeed so.

Unless the hunt is very very naughty there is no fox hunting in the UK anymore.  The hounds follow scent trails.

    LOL!

    LOL!

It's all jolly good fun and the first hound just nips the fox on the back of the neck and it dies instantly and painlessly

I like the programme a lot but that doesn’t stop me from saying there are things I don’t like.

Quite. Some episodes are very good. Some are bloody awful.

When tasks are started I want them to come back to them every six weeks or so to show progress.

    Agreed.

I want viewers’ gardens that are worthy of seeing and not chosen for the diversity of the garden owners. (my italics)

I like the viewers gardens but, yes your last point I agree with.

I would like them to draw back on the preaching … peat free, mental health … yes, yes, I’ve got the message.

Absolutely, it's currently the worst aspect of the show IMO with MD & Arit Anderson the worst offenders

I've snipped your post @BenCotto I hope you don't mind.
  • @punkdoc @janetfoss In case you meant my comment, I have never moaned in my life. I'm a scientist. I analyse everything that comes across. I often see context that looks to others like single events.

    I my garden.

I don't think so @Simone_in_Wiltshire. I'm afraid this thread, or a similar one, pops up every year, and every year it's the same. Folk tend to moan, rather than offer sensible debate or constructive criticism, when they could just press the off switch  ;)
It's been like this for years and isn't likely to change.  :)

Judging by what little I've seen, and from many other comments made, I agree with what you said, for what it's worth.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I guess it was me being accused of moaning. I'll just say that one person's expressing an opinion and discussing likes and dislikes might be another person's moaning, and I'll stick with the fast-forward button for the odd 5 minutes of GW that I don't find interesting or useful :)

I just can't imagine Adam on a horse so this really surprised me to hear!
According to social media it appears Adam Frost made a contribution to the Cottesmore hunt, and his daughters participated in it; however I’ve not found a news source, and note the bottom post with photo is from a hunt saboteur group

Exactly. Isn't that what this forum is all about? People shouldn't be vilified when they express a 'negative' opinion which is on-topic. Several people have said they're not keen on the viewers gardens segments on GW and would find the programme more enjoyable if they weren't included. Surely that's as constructive feedback as it's possible to give isn't it?
