Had an early night so up at silly o’clock. Busy day doing unmentionables and pottering. Sunny day yesterday so awaiting todays forecast. Top bird enjoy your break away. It ll be good to be out and about. Good to hear most have had a good day, predominantly gardening. Hazel good luck with the Nelly Moser search. Dove it’s good that you spotted the birds nest so as not to disturb. Alfie’s been sprawled most of the day enjoying the sunshine. I’ve been busily brushing the carpets with a rubber brush to loosen cat fur and then vac’ing it seems an endless task but I love him to bits and he’s so lovely. LB and Chive I hope your fur babies are doing well.
A very good morning RosieBB and all later arrivals.
Ruby, your new border sounds lovely. It will be nice to see those all blending together.
T'Bird, I love your travel stories. Why did I think of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe when I saw the name Tummel? Was one of the characters called Tummel? Flipping heck, I'm being a bit random this morning, obviously need my second cuppa! I got to that stage yesterday T'Bird watching Uni Chall but I really love that programme.
Good luck with your hunt for a Nelly Moser Hazel. You shouldn't have any difficulty as it is a popular choice and easy to get. Mine is now ramping away so it does sound as if yours was doomed.

@Ladybird4 I think you are thinking of Mr Tumnus the faun?
Lovely evening with sister and friend the vegetarian cottage pie was a success I just got a trifle from Tesco for dessert lazy me!
House is clean and tidy after a blitz yesterday afternoon so I have a whole day to garden. Seeds to sow and the usual dilemma of where to put seedlings. I have cut back a lot this year but it’s hard to resist the lure of those bright packets and the little babies popping out of the soil is one of the highlights of gardening for me.
Good morning everyone.Rosie I hope you slept .You are up and about very early . I love Nelly Moser Hazel . I hope you find a healthy plant at the garden centre. LB are you gardening today ? I see the tiny terror is on the March .He doesn’t miss much does he ? Missed you there Debs . Enjoy your day in the garden .
Morning everyone, I typed a long post yesterday evening, but obviously forgot to press post as its not there! 🤦♀️🤷♀️ It's rather dark this morning, I've got the table lamp on. Looks very grey and chilly outside. I had a beautiful Nelly Moser in our previous house. I bought one for here and it didn't seem to like this garden. I planted a Montana rubens superba last year and it looks like a dead twig. Phoned up the GC yesterday and I'm going to either get another or they have offered a refund/completely different plant. Hope you find something @Songbird-1 they are so pretty. Aww, Colonel TT has had a makeover 😂 @Ladybird4 🤗🤗 @Rubee your new border sounds beautiful. @bluebellsintherain you've been busy already, hope you got back to sleep. Have a good day everyone, take care.
Good Morning Bluebells, LB, Debs, Rubee, SGL and all to follow, Bluebells Hope you got back to sleep this morning, you had a very productive day yesterday. Nel is well thank you 😊 LB The Peanuts clip is great and Col TT, hope the follow up cuppa has put things back in order for you 🙂 Debs Have a great day gardening, so nice to have a free day. Hope your fiancé is getting on well, Rubee Your border sounds lovely, satisfying to see the results of your hard work, SGL Shame about your Montana, but pleased the GC are offering you an alternative replacement or refund, they sound good to deal with, Hope you find a nice healthy Nelly Moser plant Hazel, it’s a good excuse for an excursion to the GC 😉 Dull start here today, unmentionables are waiting in the wings.
SGL, that is excellent, reliable customer service from your GC.
Ruby, I am thinking about making a trip to the GC - I blame Hazel! I have to ring the blind people first though to find out what time they are coming to handy brother's bungalow tomorrow - he couldn't remember. (typical!)
Chive, unfortunately we know that these boring things have to be done

Sorry I wasn't around last two days. My father came at Sunday just for one day from the spa to have lunch all together. After lunch he asked can he go out with Max, and I said yes of course, it wasn't first time. When they were out someone drove over Max right leg and didn't even stop. We were at vet, and Max has broken bone in the finger. He had a bit of luck, because he don't need to go to operation. Now he is on antibiotics and painkillers ten more days and walk is strictly forbidden. He can only go out when nature calls. Recovery will last around 28 days.
