SGL Glad you managed to sleep, enjoy seeing your poppets today hope the family are all keeping well 🤗 Rubee I hope you can enjoy a more relaxed day today pottering in the garden 🪴
Hazel Sounds like you had a magical time yesterday spent with 23 in the fort 😊 Biglad Fingers crossed that you don’t see another snowfall like that in April 🥶 Have a lovely day everyone.
My daffs are nowhere near as usual The tete-a-tete I planted this winter are loving life though.
Exactly right @Ladybird4 The end of the new border will cover the entrance to the back of the shed somewhat, so I can plant there now. Although accessing that space in the future will then become even harder
I'm glad you liked the poem. A friend sent it on Facebook.
I hope it's not too cold this April. Even in SW France there were huge frosts last year that killed all the fruit blossom.
As it's Mothering Sunday today I'll go to church. Then gardening. The strip along the donkey paddock fence needs turning into a proper border. I planted group 3 clematis and fuchsias along it and a honeysuckle at the end but it would make it easier to mow if all the grass were cleared and the edge made straight and tidy. I also have 6 foxgloves to plant. It's the only dappled shade place in the garden.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning everyone, Happy Mothers day to all mums, including furry mums 🐈⬛🐈🐶🐕 Hope you have a lovely day.
You all sound like you have busy days ahead. Hope the weather stays nice for you. Looks a bit overcast here, but the sun is trying to peek through the clouds. Must get a wriggle on and get ready to see all the poppets and their Mummys and Daddys. Have a lovely day everyone.
In for a brew. Still a bit achey from Friday so I am going to pace myself. Hazel, that must have been a real shock to your system seeing the incorrect time. Thanks for the heads up re the car clock Chive, I just nipped out to check mine and it hadn't adjusted so that - I hope is my last clock and time switch I have to adjust. I think we should just scrap this idea anyway.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Another lovely day .Transplanted some perennials . Still putting rocks round one of the beds . I have some lovely clemmies for Mothers Day from Rosie and a beautiful card .I will be putting the clemmies in tomorrow .Ordered some more bedding plants for my pots .
The sun disappeared this afternoon and it became very overcast - a sign of things to come I wonder?
Just heard from handy brother. He is getting organised in the bungalow but goes away to Torquay tomorrow for a week. I am going down on Wednesday to give the people who make blinds access to measure up his windows.
p.s. Ruby, I meant to say, what a lovely gift - new clemmies. Which ones are they?

LB,the clemmies are: Westerplatte(burgundy). Jingle Bells(white)and Warsawska Nike (purple). Looking forward to seeing them blossom. Your daffs are lovely LB.
