Ante, I had a shiver when I read that Max had had his first swim in the sea today. I hope that you were well out of reach when he had his doggy shake when he came out of the water!

Dove, I expect you to shake like that after your shower when you have finished tennis!

    Morning everyone,
A very misty damp morning. Forecast is rain 🤦‍♀️ don't think I'll be playing in the garden today.
@Ladybird4 glad you've heard from Jack this morning. Have fun helping handy brother pack ready for the move. We always make sure kettle, teabags/coffee, milk and  something to eat is packed separately ready for when we're in the new house. And like Debs get the bed ready.

Have a restful day @Songbird-1 sorry you're not sleeping well at the moment.  Glad you're keeping your name too, it's a pretty name.
@debs64 have a good day at work. We have a section with sleepers, it does keep the earth in place and I put  trailing lobelia  in a couple of spots during the summer.
@Ante30 bet Max enjoyed his swim in the sea. I was thinking exactly the same about a wet doggy shake. 😂You've had a busy morning already, enjoy your tea ☕
    Have a lovely day everyone

LB, I'm glad that Jack is well, and it was only his hearing problem. I was quite far when Max came out from water, but it didn't helped when he ran and jumped on me. He is now three years old and still playful like when he was a puppy.

Debs, swimming in the sea is lovely, but I must reveal you one horrible secret. Last time, when I was in the sea, was eleven years ago. Don't judge me please. 🥺

I adore swimming in the sea I would love to retire to a place on the coast so I could go in all the time. We had one day in Wales last year and I was in the water. I don’t judge anyone though my fiancé won’t ever go in the sea in this country only the Mediterranean and only when it’s really hot.

😂 my joints are so loose there's every chance I'd become deconstructed like a marionette whose strings have snapped ... a good towelling down is much safer  :D

Gosh all, there were a few snucker inners there. Good morning to Hazel and SGL. I will pass on the useful tips to handy brother regarding bed and kettle. Sounds like a plan. Thank you all.
Its 3 years since I was in the sea - the Med - but these days I would be more and more hesitant as I'm afraid I overthink about what hidden horrors there maybe there and I'm not thinking sharks or anything like that - more bacteria. We are hoping to start our annual 'girls getaway' to France at the end of the year so I will see how I feel about taking the plunge again. I am quite happy to paddle though. Hazel, that must have been a terrifying experience for you and I can appreciate your nervousness now.

    Morning all.
Gosh, what a lot of posts this morning!

Glad you are keeping your name, Hazel. I like your avatar pic.

Last time I swam in the sea was a few years ago when we went to Ravello and took a boat trip to Capri. OH swam at Southwold about 4 years ago. I forgot my swimsuit.

We are going shopping to buy Adam a late birthday present.

Aww @Songbird-1 that must have been a terrifying  experience, completely understand why you now stay out of the sea. Waves can be so strong and unpredictable.
I do love going in the sea, but not if it's too cold and I stay within a certain depth. OH used to swim quite a way out, he was a fantastic swimmer. I must admit I prefer the sea abroad, it's much warmer 😂
@Busy-Lizzie have fun toy shopping, I love doing that too.

The sky looks very grey, just popped out to the bin, much sillier today. It will be indoor jobs for me today.

Hazel that  experience sounds alarming . I am not surprised that you don’t swim in the sea anymore.
