Evening All, making a habit of this late night entry, Rubee Really pleased to hear that OHs legs are looking better & the antibiotics are helping him, must be a relief for you too, Hazel Sorry to hear you’ve had several rubbish nights sleep, hope tonight may be better especially after all that work in your garden. It was very basic painting, I prefer fence panels to walls 😁 Nice to stay with Songbird & a lovely picture in your avatar, LB Oh your poor Daphne I wonder what’s been nibbling on it, those cowslips are a lovely cheery sight. Such a nice idea to donate your dads uniform to the RAF museum, a good outcome to preserve all those memories,
Topbird Not heard that expression either, I would say it’s skew wiff or on the cod though I don’t know where that came from 🤪 Bluebells I hope you feel better for the sleep at mum & dads, sitting with your legs raised is a good idea, Busy How lovely that Adam found the geese & turkeys so funny, they must have really tickled him, SGL I’m glad you got to enjoy your garden today after some essential shopping, primroses are a lovely sight, Goodnight everyone, here’s hoping for a better night for all.
Good morning all. Off to work in a bit but had a lovely day in the garden yesterday and have decided on a few small improvements. One of the raised beds is edged with those 1970s decorative bricks with holes in so soil constantly falls on the path. I think sleepers would work instead, next to bricks so an easy job and hoping it will look better. The soil encourages weeds on the path and it’s a mess.
Good morning everyone .Chive thank you for you comment .Hazel ,Lily I hope you slept better.SongBird is a lovely name so pleased you haven’t changed it .LB it’s lovely that you have found a home for your dads uniform .Hope you slept too LB .Enjoy your day folks .Debs enjoy you gardening .
Good morning Debs, Ruby and RosieBB. I was called last night by Jack who wants me to give him a call at 07:30. He has an eye appointment this morning and as he is not a 'morning person' he needs time to get his brain in gear.
Hazel, I'm glad that you are keeping your name.
Chive I have never heard 'on the cod' either but that made me smile this morning.
Debs, I dug up one of those decorative bricks in my garden last year. It has made an excellent pot stand for one of my big ceramic pots.
I am off to handy brother's this morning to help with the packing up.

Hello all … yes @Topbird … bein a roight ole Suffolk mawther Oi deffernitly know ‘bout things bein on the huh 🙄 😉
I’m glad everyone seems to be on the mend 😊 and that @Songbird-1 is still Songbird … I’ve never been good with names at the best of times … (I put it down to a pretty isolated childhood) so when I don’t have a face to put to the name it’s easy to be confused 🤪
We had a lovely visit yesterday afternoon/evening from niece and two friends who’d come up from Uni in Portsmouth to see the friends who are here at the UEA. Lots of chat and catching up done and food eaten. OH sorted the kitchen out after they’d gone … I was shattered but in a nice way. 😊
Tennis today … if my knee is ok … it was playing up and being painful yesterday …

Good morning debs, Rubee, Rosie, LB, Dove and all to follow.
LB, have a nice day with handy brother. Hope that you will pack everything. Love Snoopy cartoon.
Grey morning here, no rain. I was very tired yesterday and after walk with Max I went directly to bed. Now I'm feeling quite refreshed. This morning Max had first swim in the sea this year. He was quite happy when I let him in the water. I already done SM shopping and now is time for tea.
Good luck with the packing @Ladybird4 we always just tape drawers and cupboards shut and move them with contents inside. Don’t forget first job in new house is make up the bed so when you are exhausted at the end of the day you can just fall into it. And leave that kettle out, pack it last and unpack it first. I am sure you will be a tower of strength for your brother.
Oh @ante what a lovely treat a swim in the sea would be. You certainly live in a beautiful place.
Good morning Dove and Ante. Well I've tried ringing Jack a dozen times and no answer so I'll chuck my clothes on and get across the road to see what's happening.

Change of plan, Jack has just rung. I've told him to ring his daughter to let her know that he is up now. He is as deaf as a post and doesn't hear either the phone or doorbell when he isn't wearing his aids. Hopefully she will clear his phone message box as that is full too.
