Yes @Ladybird4 I was thinking of people like Chey with no gardens who would love an allotment and I felt too selfish keeping it. Glad to hear he had a holiday and is keeping well.
Very breezy here now and the sky is quite grey. @Rubee it's a funny feeling isn't it, almost gone LB. @Songbird-1 have a restful day, hope you're OK. Take care. Bet Chey enjoyed a break away in Spain. Hope he had some lovely sunny weather. I have a friend who lives I Spain and she mentioned the other day the weather was a bit mixed at the moment. But better than here! I'm doing some unmentionables today. Better get a wriggle on. Have a lovely day everyone. See you later.
Hi folks, Glad to hear Chey is doing well. Rainy and grey at the moment so no chance of any gardening. I've no plans other than a delivery of wood for the burner arriving later today. A kind neighbour is going to help Hubby get it in the wood shed.
The hospital have rung to offer OH an appointment this afternoon with a different consultant, at least he gets to see a doctor about his results, hopefully
It's sunny outside, so far.
The boiler man has been.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
It's absolutely hissing down here, what a difference to yesterday. Hope you're ok @Ladybird4 ........I'm hoping the scream and laying down in a dark room is because you have rain too and nothing else is wrong.
Oops you weren't there just now @Busy-Lizzie So pleased to hear your OH can be seen by another Dr. Hope all goes well. Glad boiler man has been. Chey hasn't posted for a little while, he's been rather poorly. But he keeps in touch with LB and looks in from time to time. He lives in a flat but loves to grow plants and some veg..... Tomatoes, peppers, courgettes etc. I can't remember his exact age, but early 20s.
Afternoon all - been deep cleaning the m/home - all morning. Booooooring! Glad it's done though - looks much better now.
@Ladybird4 - oh no! I think I can feel your pain. It's British b*@2!y Gas isn't it? What have they done now? Is there anything I can do to help? (bearing in mind all my shenanigans with them last year).
BL - Chey used to be a regular poster on here. One of our younger members who lives in Buxton with his cat. I've thought of him a lot over the last few weeks as I think he's on a prepayment energy meter and will probably be hit even harder than most of us with energy price rises. So unfair. I'm no socialist but that particular injustice makes me very cross. Why should somebody have to pay more for their energy because they pay for it up front?🤬
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
