    Evening everyboday.

SGL, I'm glad that you had a nice time with nephew.

As I predicted this morning, I didn't go out at all. There is no more wind but it was cold whole day. I'm going to make a tea after dinner and prepare to watch GW.
    Croatia
  • Ante I missed GW on Friday.  I will also miss Monty presenting and hope his health improves and that he is taking life easier.  Enjoy GW.  LB lots of plants to look at this am but no Acer this time.  I used the air fryer, much quicker than a conventional oven, although much much smaller.  You need to reduce coooking times considerably.  Easy to use and easy to clean.  I cooked haddock and the pan was clean afterwards.  I couldn’t tempt Alfie though.  Top bird it will be great having a good landscaper.  Hope all starts to come together.  Lily lovely of your nephew to give you flowers.

Hope you don't mind me popping in, but just to say that you wouldn't be left without gas or electricity @Ladybird4
Ofgem have what they call a safety net to ensure that doesn't happen. I appreciate your worry though.

Thank you so much for your kind advice @AnniD. It is reassuring to hear that and we absolutely don't mind anyone popping in

    Evening everyone.
Sorry you are having such a terrible time with energy suppliers LB.  We are with Shell so they haven't gone bust but they have just put our payments up by £80 per month.
Debs I grow lobelia every year and it's really easy.  I just sow the seed in small clumps in trays and away it goes.
Nelly Moser is just buds here too.
Hope your trip home was OK BL.  Glad things went well re OH.
I've been looking after the boys today.  Secondborn had to go to a seminar for work.
Popping to Firstborn's tomorrow to see the girls and hopefully I'll get some gardening done on Monday.  I haven't sowed a single seed yet.

I arrived home late afternoon having dropped off on route for supplies. The key opened the shutter, thank goodness. The car started first go, having sat at the airport.

Things needed doing like looking through the post, checking house and garden and starting up my Laptop. Laptop isn't working. Its desktop picture comes up but it won't do anything 😭

I need to take it to a computer place but I can't because I have to babysit for the week. I will need it to book the ferry ticket back so I hope I can get it sorted before then, even if it means buying a new one.

The garden is sodden, must have rained a lot.

Glad you won't have to replace the whole fence @Topbird.

@Pauline 7  if you're looking in.....how does your OH feel about his football team

He doesn't appear to be happy.  To be honest,  I don't take much notice when he's talking about football.......I just grunt in the appropriate places.😚😉

@Songbird-1 glad to hear your mum is well and that you had a lovely chat with her today. Glad OH tooth is ok too.
@Busy-Lizzie glad you've arrived home safely. Sorry to hear your laptop isn't working, but glad the key did.
Will say goodnight to you all, sleep well and sweet dreams.
