A very good morning everyone - good to see you Pauline.
SGL, you will be able to look at your lovely flowers and remember the happiness of your nephew's visit.
Yvie, have a nice visit with the girls today. It reminded me a little of a funny tale my sister told me a few years back. She had been talking about our ladies trip to France, with her husband whilst her grandson was buzzing about. She started to talk about 'meeting all 'the girls' at the airport....' and a little later in the day, her grandson with a very serious expression asked her why she wasn't taking the boys as well. He was thinking that he and the other grandson were being left out. He was happy when she reassured him.
Busy, its good to hear that there were no problems on your return to France. Try taking the battery out of your laptop and putting it back in. This often sorts some problems out.
Hazel, nice to hear your Mum enjoys having a giggle with you and she is marvellous having reached that milestone birthday.
@Biglad if you get time to sign in, I hope that your brain isn't scrambled with 'figuring'!
Ante, I hope it starts to get a bit warmer soon for you.

    Morning all,

    I was just checking in @Ladybird4 ;)ย

A busy week getting to grips with a new job and working across 2 other time zones (-7hrs and +7hrs) followed by the foolish decision to accept back-to-back r-a-a-f appointments yesterday. Fell asleep in the comfy armchair last night and woke up about an hour ago.

Will catch up on the GW and MoTD I've missed and then contemplate what to do with the rest of my day off.....

I forgot to mention yesterday that handy brother will be moving into his new bungalow on 25th March. He finally heard that everything is all sorted now. He invited the lady who is buying his house round yesterday (she has been given the 25th too for moving) and introduced her to both sets of his neighbours - all very warm and welcoming. She has 3 children of primary school age so they will be nice company for handy brother's little helper, Theo, who always helps in the front garden when he sees handy brother is working there.

    Good morning all.

LB, the thought of taking a battery out of a Laptop terrifies me. I don't even know where it is.
I hope handy Brother's move goes well. Kind of him to introduce his buyer to the neighbours.

It's tipping with rain here. I was hoping to weed the veg garden.

Good morning LB, Biglad and all to follow.

LB, I'm glad that your handy brother can soon move to new bungalow. The worst thing is expectation, at least for me. Hope you have decent weather.

It's beautiful sunny and calm morning. At least thru window. I was outside and is very cold, there is a thin layer of ice on my pond. Mirko didn't want to eat last night and also this morning, he catches cold. I gave him antibiotics and syrup for immunity. Hope it will pass soon, and I'll go to the vet with him at Tuesday. Now is time for tea.

Hello there Biglad, Busy and Ante.
Good to see you Biglad. I'm not surprised you are shattered. Enjoy 'catching up'.
Busy, its as easy as swapping batteries in a torch - honest,
If you can, on your phone type into Google/or a search engine:
"How do I remove the battery from my (name of laptop here)?" and you will find all sorts of helpful advice on the internet. Possibly might find a short video on YouTube. Don't be scared, you won't break it.
Ante, I am sorry to hear that Mirko is not feeling too well. Lily always has a snuffle with the virus she carries but she still carries on regardless. I hope he gets better soon. I am having a cup of tea too.
