Hello @SlipperyElm, its a wind chime. The type you find in the far east - Japan for example. I have three ceramic ones in my kitchen.

By the way, there is no need to apologise, everyone is very welcome.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Adam Frost talk @Topbird, you needed something nice after your recent troubles.

Glad too that LB had a good day with Bestie.

I've painted most of the rooms and tiled the kitchen after it was re-fitted over the last three years in this house and painted 3 rooms in my French house in the last year. I find it very satisfying.

Friends popped round this morning with a pressie for OH's birthday tomorrow, glad we were in. Had coffee.

By then it was lunchtime so we popped into a local pub for a sandwich and a beer.

Then we went to Tesco for some odds and ends and the GC next door for birthday cards, they have loads and some are very nice. I was hoping for snowdrops in flower or in the green but there weren't any.

Good morning everybody. Yes, SlipperyElm and Ruby, I thought wind chimes were appropriate at this time what with all the storms we have been having recently.

Having said that, there is only a gentle breeze so far this morning.
T'Bird, I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed Adam Frost's talk but NO CAKE! 0/10.
Ruby, I hope you don't have to dig yourself out of snow this morning. It was just heavy rain here last night.

  • Good morningLB and those to follow.  LB I was expecting snow after a chilly night, but none arrived.  I do like wind charms.  Time for tea.  I’ve ordered some presents for dads birthday although not until July.  I was inspired.

Good morning RosieBB. That is a good idea - as long as you remember where you have stored them! I do that sort of thing and then discover the items long after the event for which I bought them!
