    Afternoon all.

Chive, I'm sorry to hear that you are tested positive. Hope that you will have very mild symptoms and quick recover.

Snow and wind stopped but it's freezing 🥶. This night will be under 0℃ for sure. Last few days I'm handling with paint and brushes. Hazel, help please. 😁
About message, I don't give it any attention, and think that it's some trol user with only few posted messages here on the forum.
This new situation on the East is very worrying, and first refugees came to Croatia which woke some very bad memories among all of us.
Hope that you have a nice afternoon. I'll now have my tea and watch Murdoch mysteries.

Good afternoon all. I think I had better put one thing straight as there appears to have been a misunderstanding, whilst I expressed that the Vintage Cash Cow day may be interesting and (tongue-in-cheek) I suggested hunting out some stuff to take I had no intention of going I was just musing. I very much doubt that they would be interested in buying my tat. Sorry I mean my precious metal and priceless stamp collections. I prefer to go where I am a known seller i.e. the auction house I mentioned earlier. Coincidentally I deal there with a lady called Hazel.
Having cleared up that I would just like to wish Busy's OH good luck when he goes for his lung function tests this week.
Debs it must have felt like the end of an era when you handed over your allotment keys. Its a pity that you don't live near Chey as he is hoping to get an allotment himself. I believe that they have long waiting lists though. I do hope that the meal is a happy affair and not too sad.
RosieBB, I know what you mean about the knees. Lily does that but gets her claws hooked up in my clothes which is very annoying at times as I have to disentangle her and she thinks I'm torturing her.
Hazel, you and your OH have been so very busy. You are hardy souls. I have found the temperature very inhibiting.
T'Bird, all that painting as well as the pruning will have given you an R.S.I. Have you got any of those 'rub it on' pain killers? Have a rest tomorrow. Your MIL did well with her tennis trophy. My most successful sale at the auction house over 2 years ago now was selling my Dad's Rolex watch. It had been left to handy brother but he was scared to death to wear it.
Hazel, I think you probably missed me mentioning the case - it might even have been on RESURRECTED 113. I've not actually seen it yet (next weekend I will) but it literally was full of Dad's various uniforms. Typical handy brother never thought to ask where it had been found in Mum's old bungalow!
Chive, does this mean that you won't be able to go to work tomorrow? Hope you recover soon.
Ante, ignore that horrid troll. Trolls don't realise how pathetic they are. The dreadful situation in Ukraine must be such a worry for you, and, as you and others have said, it has awoken some awful memories for you.
Enjoy Murdoch Mysteries. I love his science skills.

    Evening all,

Back from r-a-a-f duties. Only 4 hours today but same scenario - another hot soak and I'll be flaked out just here for the evening ;)

  • Ante yes things very worrying in East and Ukraine people seeking refuge and upsetting news reports.  We have many Ukrainians who have made there home here.  Big lad it’s good to soak your muscles after your field duties.  Busy I hope oh appointment goes well.  LB Alfie enjoyed his wet food and surprisingly ate quite a few lumps.  He loves the jelly.  Chive I hope you’ve had time to rest.  Hazel you and oh have been very productive in the garden.  I had a late lunch and pottered.
  • Evening All, thank you for your kind posts,
Thank you Hazel Son is much better and has reached the end of his isolation. You have been very busy outside, quite a workout by the sounds of it. I enjoy that radio show too, good for a singalong 🎶
Bluebells I’m glad Alfie showed interest in the new wet food and ate the lumps 👍
Ante Enjoy a nice relaxing evening with Murdoch mysteries, you deserve that.
LB I have to isolate for 5 days then test again. Good idea to use the auction house it must be quite exciting to see your items go through. FIL sold some of his model transport collection that way when he moved,
Feet up Biglad the sofa beckons 🛋
Signing off for tonight, hope you all have a nice evening. Goodnight everyone.
  • Evening everyone,
@Chivetalking so very sorry to hear you have tested positive for Covid. Do hope it's very mild and you get better soon. Good news that your son is feeling much better. Hope OH stays well. Take csre and very best wishes. Have a restful evening.  I did get the cloth things dry, it's been sunny but chilly today.

    Sorry @Ladybird4

@Ante30 sorry the message wasn't a kind one, but trolls aren't worth thinking about. Don't give them another thought. Sending a hug.🤗
You've been very busy @Songbird-1 hope you don't ache after all the digging. It was too chilly here too be out in the garden. Wish our grass would dry out a bit, it's far too wet to cut.
@bluebellsintherain glad Alfie  managed to eat something.
@Busy-Lizzie Hope appointment goes well for OH.
@Biglad are you resting on the sofa and watching the footie? Have a relaxing evening.

SGL, don't you worry about it. It was so kind of you and Dove to give me the warnings.
Ante, I think I have seen nearly all the Murdoch Mysteries. I think I told you quite some time back that my favourite character is George Crabtree.
