Maybe everyone was scared of catching my earworm (it disappeared eventually, thank goodness).

I've had a Me and Bobby Magee  earworm 3 days straight since @pansyface quoted a line on the politics thread.  As a plus, I always wondered how he got a harpoon in his bandana and what fishing had to do with it anyway. My husband explained. I now understand.

I made soup a couple of weeks ago. Boiled up the carcass of a roast chicken with veg trimmings to make the stock then used a load of the less palatable tomatoes from the greenhouse with various finely chopped veg. It was probably the best soup I've ever made but I didn't write down what went into it and now I can't remember :|  I've got a bowl full of tomatoes to use up and I've just made more stock but my mind is blank on what to do.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Did you fry or roast anything before adding?

It seems that Common Sense is even less common than it used to be … perhaps it should be renamed …

No fitting instructions with the new radiator, so I had to go on line to the manufacturers website, where I found the supposed correct one, but the fittings supplied don’t match the instructions. OH phoned the help line, and they have emailed the ‘correct’ instructions. None of the measurements are correct, and a lot of the description doesn’t make sense. Half the measurements are given in mm when they obviously meant cm, with a few inches chucked in for good measure. OH will have to make up his own template for the fitting, as the instructions were of no help whatsoever. Very annoying, I’d hoped it would have been fitted by now.

Instructions probably loosely translated from Chinese.

Amazed to find the radiator was actually made in Austria! Translation not much better though, although it’s mainly the numbers that don’t add up.
