My sister-in-laws grandson apparently came home from school a few days ago minus all his sports gear. He says he has no idea where he left it. Only been at his new (senior) school for a couple of weeks. His dad is not impressed. It wouldn't be so bad if it was only shorts, T shirt and a pair of trainers but he had everything with him as he didn't know what they would be doing. That was full football kit, boots, trainers, track suit etc. All cost a fortune.
I wondered that too @pansyface. Was everything named @KT53? I don't suppose insurance covers this sort of thing, especially if it was just a moment of being an airhead.

@pansyface@Obelixx I also wondered about the bullying but I don't know. I would hope his kit is labelled but that still requires somebody to hand it in. His mother has recently moved house and he has to get 2 buses to get home which may explain why he says he doesn't know where he lost it. The parents aren't together and the mother is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. She knew he would need to change schools when they moved, but did nothing about it. Consequently, instead of having a 5 minute walk to the school where they now live, he has over an hour by bus. His dad or his grandad take him when they can but that's not every day.
@KT53 . If the chocolate teapot can't manage it maybe his dad can? An hour each way is a serious loss of time for a youngster.
The dad works shifts so it's not possible for him to take the son to school every day. The process to change schools has just begun and it's unlikely he will be able to relocate until after Christmas. The mother told the father that she had been in touch with the school when she knew they were moving. The school claims otherwise and there is absolutely nothing to support her claim.
Well if it was a bus day, the first port of call is the bus lost property office.
But speaking as someone who had to do a similar journey for seven years at high school, I don’t recall leaving that much stuff behind me as I got off a bus.
Mind you, that was in Barnsley, where anything left behind a departing passenger would have been met by screams of “Ey up, tha’s left thee things on’t seat behind thee!” from at least half the other passengers. 😊
@pansyface all the kit was in his sportsbag. God knows how he could forget that.

If your running Windows 10 or 11 you don't need a separate antiviral program as they both have built in antiviral programs.
I've been using Windows 10 for years and never installed an antiviral program because the inbuilt security is sufficient.
Save your money and use the built in tools.
