Also a Brit won the bronze medal in the men's 100m, with the same time as the silver medal winner. That didn't even get a mention on the national news. Shame on the BBC
I don't know which BBC bulletin you watched but it was not only mentioned but they showed footage of the photo finish ending on the 10 pm one.
I wish they'd make those tiny microphones that are attached to presenters/ performers heads in a colour apart from skin tones. They always look like warts or cysts to me.

I'll admit I was watching the one at 6:35pm on BBC1. I guess that was too soon after the football had finished - kind of 6 hours!!
Not me @Dovefromabove, thought I did mention something on Forkers. I haven't looked on this thread for a bit. I don't watch football of any sort. I would watch horse events, such as dressage and carriage driving, but they never show any.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Shouldn't it be Hermosa rather than Hermoso as well? Maybe that's potentially why the gender's confused (or the sentence is missing 'own'). Smiley face emoji, with a slight wink and a hand covering the sniggering mouth....
@Dovefromabove Funnily enough I had a conversation in Sains. on Mon with a complete stranger who also said she felt there was something 'wrong' about women playing football and I also brought up hockey. Didn't change her mind.

Both excellent performances.
By the way, I love sport.
A fabulous win for us over the weekend as well.
