    That's what's known here as 'a face like a well skelped a**e'  @wild edges ;)

Seen on many a petulant four year old. I expect you know it fairly well....  :D
When I worked at the local Playgroup, we had two children there one year who regularly looked like that when they couldn't do what they wanted. One of them lived next door to me, unfortunately  :|
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

My great-nephew does a variation of the 'face'.  At 18 months he's a master of the eye roll and head turn when he's told to do something he doesn't want to, or told he can't do something he wants to.  Learnt from his dad who does that a lot when his missus has her back to him.  Not brave/stupid enough to do it when she is looking. :D

I think I will be practicing that face for most of the summer.
We have just had notification of major roadworks on the  A41. This is a road we have to cross or use, to go anywhere.  The notification was very badly written with lots of contradictory statements, so it's going to be very hard to know what part will be closed when until it happens.  Start date 1st April,  the initial stament says until summer,  it only much further in it becomes clear they actually mean ALL  summer as there are closures to the end of August.
Curmudgeonly does even begin to say what we're feeling.

I am sick to death of battling predictive text to type a perfectly good word or phrase that PT doesn't like the look of😡
I wish there was an ignore button you could use for individual words rather than switching it off altogether.

Sometimes my phone writes the word ‘night’ quite happily. At other times it comes up with the word ‘ishtar’. I have never in my life knowingly written that word even with typing skills as cr*p as mine. WHY?! 😫

B3. You should be able  to turn predictive spelling off if you don’t  want it. Easy on iPad,  not sure what you’d do on laptop.
