I suspect that, for some reason, they didn't want your custom. It's easier to quote a ridiculous price than to explain why.

I went to bed a bit early last night so I'd be nice and fresh to start the week but I woke up at 2am freezing cold. I'm not sure why as I still had my allocated 25% of the duvet and a corner of the wool blanket too. It took me ages to warm up and get back to sleep only for her alarm and subsequent snooze alerts to wake me up at 6. I could have slept in for a while but my brain decided that was enough sleep and that we should get up so it could remind me how knackered and achy I am.  :s

I had a calendar like that a couple of years ago. You lose faith in it. I bought another calendar. They're really cheap, for obvious reasons, later in the year.

Flouting the cat discussion ban here but in the news I read that, this year, Walldorf in Germany is prohibiting cat owners from letting their cats roam outside during the bird nesting season. This is to protect a very rare ground-nesting lark that is verging on extinction. The Animal Protection League have said that they will do all they can to prevent this law protecting the birds and get peoples' cats back outside killing wildlife where they belong :|  Time to change the name to Cat Owner Entitlement Protection League I think.
