@wild edges we have those centipedes with long legs in our house, I will take a picture next time I see one. They lose their legs if you try and pick them up  :o

Some middle aged idiot on an electric scooter was riding up and down the prom at Sidmouth, at high speed while talking on his mobile phone. Was pretty sure that’s currently illegal, but couldn’t check until we got home. Very dangerous, especially as the walkway was packed, with lots of us 27 year olds, some not very mobile. Lots of signs saying No Cycling, but evidently didn’t think it applied to him. Rather like the idiot who regularly wobbles along on his unicycle, expecting all and sundry to duck out of his way.

Then there are the old biddies who taz up and down the aisles on their mobility scooter jobs in Tesco, at breakneck speed, expecting me to jump out of their way. I've no objection to the scooter jobs it's the flipping speed they go at. Think I'll petition Tesco to put a speed restriction in the aisles  :D

I nearly got run over by a hell's granny who was actually whizzing along the pavement faster than the traffic on the road.
They should have to take a proficiency test and have number plates on their vehicles.

The rules for motor scooters are essentially the same as for other motor vehicles - you must have a licence for use on public roads, and you must not drive on the pavement. In addition, they must be hired from an approved scheme, you cannot use your own scooter on public roads.

Son followed a van along the road on his way to work this morning ... wandering a bit across the road for quite a way ... he said the driver was obviously texting as he drove ... and then he watched him drive up a bank and tip on his side into a ditch ... in what was obviously his electrical company boss's work van ... son stopped and checked he was unhurt and that his phone was working (!!!) ... and then left him to it ... he said he was so angry he thought he'd leave the chap to summon help and explain to his boss how he drove off a straight road and did thousands of pounds worth of damage to his van.

I know none of you agree with me, but I still think that he is the best PM since I was able to vote.

Although I admire you immensely Punkdoc,  I can’t agree with you on this.
