There is a theory that if people have to stand at meetings, they're a lot shorter more focused.
This is the kind of meeting where several of us stand around while some bloke does all the hard work. I'm the only one who actually needs to be there but there will be at least two people 'facilitating'.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

What's the point of a meeting if only one person  actually needs to be there? Can't you just write yourself a note?

The money will come from the NHS, not the hospital, although that is not really any better.
Where the money goes, nobody knows; Bojos wallpaper fund.
How can you lie there and think of England

Found a drowned slowworm in one of the water butts today. No idea how it got in there but it must have happened yesterday as I had emptied and cleaned that one the day before.

Some silly person thought it a good idea to have a bonfire today,  they cut conifers down and straight away burning it,  everywhere is very wet, loads of rain again this morning, maybe through the night.  Fortunately not blowing our way. 🤬

A hospital has been fined £1.3 million following two patient deaths. How on earth will that do anything to improve the situation at the hospital? Where will the money come from? Where will it go?

The money should come from the wage packets of the executive and senior management of the hospital trusts who are clearly not doing their jobs.
