@Lizzie27 - I do love them - but only outside of the netting!

Just read your EDP article @Dovefromabove - that is appalling!  Gambling ruins so many lives, I'm shocked at Thetford Council allowing it.  Same as I was shocked when Tony Blair promoted the idea of super casinos, glad that was dropped.

@didyw I have no evidence, but knowing local politics as I do, I smell an influential rat or two 😡

Why is it that no matter how careful you think you are being,  the hose always manages to wrap round,  pull over or break the very plant you want most to protect. 😡

I find the ability of hosepipes to get stuck or twist or wrap themselves up is exceedingly frustrating.  I also have one long one that hast started sprouting leaks.  However, the last one I bought is a wider gauge and has thicker walls and is much better behaved so the replacement for the leaky one will be that gauge too.

Managed to pull over a pot last night, and uproot a miniature conifer rescued from a previous Christmas table setting. I hope it will be ok.

We're having an unexpected visit from the inlaws today :|

That'll be fun @wild edges.   Maybe get them to entertain the boys so you can set up a safety system for your treasured seedlings?  Or have a Zoom meeting with clients or colleagues?
