Technically he is still PM until heās submitted his resignation to HM. HOWEVER he doesnāt have to do it in person. Many of his predecessors have done it by letter. Heās just so āme, Me, MEEEEE!!!ā š”Ā
But after he's done the deed he is no longer PM so there is no valid reason for him not to travel on the same flight as Lizzie.

As I said, he doesn't have to go at all ...Ā

Presumably his plane still has to come back to Northolt @KT53 but yes, it does seem a tad OTT.Ā Ā I watch th enews once a day on average now as it's important to be informed.Ā I do wonder why all the journalists angsting about what will happen with energy price caps are not mentioning what's happening in other countries to compare and maybe even feed in ideas.
Germany's govt has pledged $65billion to control energy bills and has taken steps to build up its gas stocks, an EU wide initiative to protect against supply shortages this winter.Ā France has capped prices to last year's level and is turning back on some of its nuclear stations after this autumn's maintenance is done.Ā Ā They were scheduled for closure.Ā Belgium has cut VAT on gas and electricity to 6% and is helpng poorer households with other measures.
It'll be interesting to see what the Tories do under Liz Truss.Ā I suspect some civil servants are infor a bit of a shake up after Boris' laxity.

By the time the conversation was posted he was already on his way.Ā Not going was no longer an option.

Are you blaming us now? Ā If weād posted earlier and explained it Boris wouldnāt have gone you mean? Ā
I hadnāt realised he takes his instructions from this forum ⦠what a wasted opportunity that was šĀ

A parcel just turned up with 'repackaged by Yodel' tape all over it. All the stuff inside had basically been crushed and shoved into a new box. Why not just return it yourself rather than go to the trouble of repackaging it and making me do the returns? Ā
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
Ā If the plane crashed then we would have no PM, so the deputy PM, Dominic Raab, would have to be appointed as PM.
If Ms Truss's plane crashed, Mr Johnson wouldn't get to be PM again, so what difference if a plane with both of them on crashed. Or if he got lost trying to negotiate public transport.
