I have left reviews on Trustpilot and use it to assess any company l'm thinking of buying from @B3. Ultimately the decision to go ahead or not is then down to me. I've never had a problem with leaving reviews and , (touch wood) have always had a positive response to any points l've raised. A bit like this forum, it's dependant on the people who use it, either when buying or selling. @Liriodendron has been extremely unlucky with this firm and l hope Trustpilot and any other regulator take suitable action.
As are the "Guidelines for Businesses" published by Trustpilot under the heading "Keep private information private": "We want the privacy and safety of everyone to be respected and protected, so don't post any sensitive or personal information. We're talking names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, and anything else that could be used to track, identify, contact or impersonate someone."
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
If I'd looked at the Trustpilot reviews in November I'd never have ordered from Incredibledirect. But Omicron had shut things down again in Ireland so I was anxious to order Christmas presents on line - and the reviews on the Incredibledirect site itself were fairly reasonable. (I suppose, with hindsight, they had excluded the ones which weren't.)
I've emailed their "support team" again with the information on privacy from Trustpilot. I don't expect a reply...

Someone invented crayons that look like cars. That's fun right? Crayons in a fun shape that kids will enjoy colouring with?
No Kids don't want to colour with them because they don't want to ruin the car shape. Kids want to drive them around leaving crayon trails on flippin' everything. The only person worse than the inventor of this ridiculous idea is the grandparent who inflicts this plague on our household.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
Are they ‘wax’ crayons? I have a solution for you @wild edges … Labrador puppies eat wax crayons … they look at you with soulful eyes and deny it … but the evidence appears shortly afterwards in brightly coloured piles …

I just had an email: 'Sexy Russian girls are looking for boyfriends'. Yeah they're all Ukraine I imagine I'm not sure what they want me to do about it?

Meant to say - we bought a replacement timer in Limerick this afternoon. I haven't had the nerve to try it out yet...
