I completely agree, @AnniD. What he does in his own time is his own business, but I'm paying him to be there to represent me, not to be shopping for John Deere, never mind watching porn.
And the other bit that gets my goat is the whole 'I'll wait for the outcome of the enquiry' line. I know it's the current fashion in the Conservative party but come on, you know you were doing it, you know you've been caught, just go.

    Thankfully he has now.

I loved the way, when some other woman MPs complained about being groped in Westminster, somebody suggested that the offending “Members” should keep their hands in their pockets.

    Er, yes. Is that better?

I chuckled at that suggestion @pansyface.  Somebody opened mouth before engaging brain with that suggestion.

More important that the Members keep their members in pockets, maybe.

If the Members kept themselves out of the pockets of big business and foreign powers, that would be even better

Does this mean we're paying for his mobile phone usage, 'cos whether it's tractors or porn, that's wrong 😡

some folk just can't leave their toys alone.
I mean phones, not "members" .
Imagine standing in a queue at a supermarket waiting for the operator to finish on his / her phone? Or a pilot, or GP or dentist?
    It's just bizarre

You often see the parliamentarians on their mobiles in the house - what would be acceptable for them to be doing? Would it be ok to be:
texting their partners / personal seocial media
    watching movies/tv/sport
    playing games
    arranging their holiday
    planning their wedding
    buying stuff
    ....

...is it just porn that's the problem? I would lay odds that half the time that you see people in the house on their phones it's not about work - or is that being too cynical?
And if using phones for personal use in the house is potentially wrong, is that also the case in any work environment? Is it ok in moderation?

    Edited to add:
Would it have been ok to watch porn had he been alone in his office? Then ditto for the actions above.

I've been wracking my brain to think of a word about tractors you could Google and end up on a porn site.
