Main area for Melcourt Sylvagrow seems to be south of Birmingham.  From the map there are 5 stockists within about 5 miles of me.

Nearest stockist of it [Sylvagrow] for me, seems to be other side of Glasgow, or Lanark area. Not very handy. I certainly wouldn't be making a trip for that.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

The washing machine engineer can fit me in tomorrow luckily. When he last came out my neighbour ran over the road to ask him to look at something in his house and he's coming back tomorrow with parts for the neighbour, which is a stroke of luck. I'm using an old caravan washing machine at the moment. 'Machine' glorifies it a bit as it's basically a fancy bucket that swooshes the washing about a bit. Better than nothing though.  :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

What a terrible bore, @wild edges
I do hope it gets sorted this time.

Washing machine has stopped working again :|
I've got a man coming to fix mine between 12 and 6 today.

Heating oil , 900 litres in Novermber : £520, 500 litres today, £542.06. Almost double.

Our boiler sprang a leak yesterday :(. Fortunately it's not a huge one so a washing up bowl underneath to catch the water is enough until the repair man comes (booked for Wednesday). That means I'll have to tidy up the dumping ground that is the back bedroom so that he can get to it easily. Never mind, I'd have been doing it soon anyway to put a table under the window for seed-sowing.

I thought you were talking about peat-free compost for a moment there :o

Something is causing our sockets to trip every Sunday at 11pm.  I'm blowed if I can find the reason for it...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
