Why oh why can't under gardeners remember the names of plants and what colour they are......miss information given to a neighbour! Grump over.

I'd be happy if my under gardener could tell a weed from a treasure @floralies!  Can't tell how much his contributions to our compost piles have cost me over the years.

Hubbys motor policy came yesterday from Direct line,we are both with them. Has my birthdate,22/10/50, my age 70. Says you must notify them immediately of mistakes or your insurance will be invalid. So,he spends 20 minutes on hold. Then tells the bloke, who says he will wave the alterations to policy fee. Hubby says I should think so,being as you made the mistake!

listening to Classic FM yesterday. They have a section called " thoughts for paws"
Folk send in messages for their pets !!!!!
Does the dog know it's 10 today and how does the owner know "  he's really looking forward to an extra long walk later"
Was he listening attentively to the radio? Was he thrilled to here his name mentioned?

Rescue dogs have 'Gotcha days' instead of birthdays (which are usually unknown). Many of them have cake. They may have no clue why it's offered, but a dog will rarely say no to cake. I don't understand why people get so much out of hearing their name on the radio, but there you go. It makes them happy and there's little enough of that about. It's pretty harmless, in the scheme of things

I once knew a girl who would sulk for days if her fiance forgot to buy her a Mother's Day card on behalf of her horse. Some people are wired very differently :#
