Speaking as someone who doesn’t know one end of a bat or ball from the other, any sport seems to me to be solely about winning.
As a non-win-seeking person, it seems to me that in order to win something one has to have the type of mentality that will do anything to achieve that. Hence the grunting.
Why watch sport? I can sort of understand someone playing a sport if winning something turns them on, but watching another person try to win something? I just don’t understand that at all. It’s like watching someone else play the Lotto.
My sentiments exactly. One will win, the other will lose. As I don't know these people, who wins, and who loses makes no difference to my life whatsoever.
Hosta, don't you mean "close it down! Food waste, who can afford to waste. Talking of waste,as in rubbish, Glasto, the rubbish they leave behind is disgusting, and aren't they the "save the planet, eco warriors. Got,a surprise in the paper picture of an old friend.... holding up a picture of the Beatles.
