    @Sheps so to speak yes we are keeping it as in that it is doing what it needs to do. Looking at the cycle of hornets...a good read.

    Can anyone help me with this little fellow - in my meadow flitting between the yellow rattle and the buttercups.  Sorry about the poor photo - wings half open was the best i could get

  • Probably a Large Skipper Butterfly. There is also the similar Small Skipper, but it is possibly a little early for that.

    Thanks Alan. Skippers are not my strong suit!  First one I've seen in the garden 😀
