I found this critter on a broken twig earlier. So tiny that even my 10x hand lens wasn't much help. Thankfully macro lenses and photoshop can reveal the hidden secrets of teeny tiny bugs. I think this is a nymph of Closterotomus fulvomaculatus, which is a mirid bug that doesn't seem to have a common name.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Aquilegia rider; Every bloom this evening had someone on board. Just chillin'.

Not insects, but two baby frogs have appeared in my micro-pond this evening for the first time seen this year. Always lovely to see frogs back for their summer spa. They've never spawned there but they love to bathe.

Thanks, @mikeymustard I've had confirmation that those are larvae of Harmonia axyridis, the Asian ladybeetle.
On the same rose-tree an adult ladybird, but a different species, probably Adalia bipunctata, the two-spot ladybird.

Saw this guy this morning on some lavender. No idea what he is - but I left him minding his own business! Anyone have any ideas?
Edit to add: My best Google guess is a Ladybird or Vine Beetle of some sort...
