I assume you are referring to the Jersey Tiger moth, @Crazybeelady rather than the lacewing. Maybe it's the same one, but taken a flight across the Medway.
Whoops sorry, yes @rowlandscastle444 I did mean the moth. I looked them up though and it seemed that they're not completely unexpected in Kent, if not that common. Someone on twitter shared a moth trap pic the other day and had hundreds of them! Not sure where she was though.

Last night she had 200+ in the traps and in the previous nights between 150 and 180.
(not fabulously sharp but it's windy out there, again.)
