The erotic side of it had escaped me @Hostafan1 ... you'll probably have noticed that I don't go for the butch beefy types  ;)

OH is English thru and thru.  We live in France.   He will be supporting England and then France.

I am a mongrel - parts English, Scottish, southern Irish and Danish.  No Welsh.  I used to like rugby in the dim and distant past.   I shall be sewing.  Or reading.  Or cooking.

Anything but watching sport on TV tho I do, very occasionally, watch a bit of dressage and show jumping.

Moira finds rugby players very sexy, one of our nephews played for Scotland, and I have to admit, he is a very sexy boy, although I think I prefer his girlfriend.
How can you lie there and think of England

I'd rather eat my own flesh than watch horses walking backwards whilst looking at the ground. Just Weird.

OH will be glued to the tv for the rugby, as I am hoping will be son in law. Have booked a phone chat with daughter while it’s on!
Cold and frosty this morning, so don’t fancy a walk.
have a safe journey @Busy-Lizzie. I always take a dose of Imodium before flying, to combat the wobbly tum. I know it’s just nerves, but I get in a tither about missing the plane, even though I always get to the airport indecently early!

Oh do have a shave @punkdoc - Moira is right!  And you need to look respectable for the rugby.
Glad your tests were negative @Pat E.
Good luck to Possum @Obelixx in getting a job.
Hope you arrive safely @Busy-Lizzie.  Not getting dark until 5ish so you may see a nice sunset.
I agree with @Dovefromabove - hats off to all those out there doing actual gardening. I'm still in hunker down mode.

    Good afternoon to you all.

Windy but sunny with cotton ball clouds today.  Quite warmish for February:  16.5°C

@Busy-Lizzie  Happy landing - when you read this you will be home in Norfolk.  Hope the weather is clement for tomorrow.  I always get butterflies before a trip, too.  Maybe worrying about missing the train or flight.

@Pat E  A relief that both your tests are negative.  Hooray!

@floralies  I too, have woken with painful sinuses today.  Something in the wind?  Really tiring!!

@WonkyWomble    That's a very advanced Iris - mine aren't at that stage yet.  In fact my peas aren't even up yet!  Sowed them 15 days ago.  Patience, patience!!

Rugby - Winter Olympics - I like most sports.  Enjoyed the curling this morning and the ski jump.  Probably two of my favourites - oh yes and the biathlon.

    Have a pleasant afternoon everyone.
