Good morning Ruby. I know the feeling of being warm and not wanting to get up but I'm visiting my Canasta friend today. She is the lady who has had to stop playing cards now as her deteriorating sight has made it too difficult for her. She always wants me to give her the gossip about the Canasta sessions though, now it has started up again.

Sunny and freezing morning. Snow didn't last long yesterday. It's time for my tea and school. I placed order for almost all seeds which I want to grow this year. They should arrive till Friday.
Good morning all. Day off today which I plan to enjoy as I have extra hours this week at work, one of my colleagues is off sick so have volunteered to do more. When will I learn?

A man has just been to look at the front door and give me an estimate for a new one. He is French and was recommended by the plumbers who installed my new bath. It's old, needs painting, swells when the weather is damp so that it drags on the floor and it lets in draughts.
There should also be someone coming sometime today to install a "Linky", the French Smart Meter. The old meter is so high I have to climb a ladder to read it and when I'm away the meter reading man can't get in because it's all fenced with an electric gate.
