Thanks Punkdoc - that's what I thought. When the first one appeared in the front garden, some kind soul identified here for me, and I added it to my database - this is the one out front as identified.
How the heck two or three have suddenly appeared 100ft away in separate garden, I don't know. But that's the beauty of a garden..those little surprises.
When we finally agreed to start carving up the front lawn we decided to have an island each. But of course I had to do all the digging, removal of turf & subsoil and then filling with the new mix! Three years on and we're still in competition.
When looking at the---great---result, one can easily guess how much work went into it! Well-done, @VictorMeldrew .
